The Vikings are coming!

I liked this book. The story was fast paced and held my attention.Anir and Catherine(Cattin) were very likeable.
He was a strong, yet kind, Viking warrior.
She was a strong young woman that makes the best of her situation after being kidnapped by Anir.
The story describes the day to day lives of the characters and of their getting to know one another better.
The story had a sufficient ending. I wish more had been told about what became of them...other than what the 'old woman' predicted. I wanted to experience the prediction.
A fast and enjoyable read that I got as a free download.
It is an estimated 130 pages. The story ended on my Kindle at 96%, followed by an excerpt from Book#2.

I liked the story line, I just didn't like how fast the book went. I guess if you are looking for a super quick read while on a road trip, this would be good.
This story is intriguing, but has it's share of violence within the historical story. The content reflects the violence of the time period and does not try and sugar-coat the era.
This story has adventure, passion and a HEA ( viking style). The characters are strong and the story kept you unable to put the book down.
This book started off in a really harsh vein. Probably somewhat realistic to the time period. Life has never been easy and for these people it was a constant struggle. I enjoyed the story line, but the ending was a bit abrupt.
Lots of gramatical errors and bad editing. The writing seems very immature and stilted, full of modern euphamisms that really distract from the story line. I mean, come on, I don't think they used words like "cahoots" in 835AD. You can tell the author has no real background in literature or writing. I wouldn't buy from this author again.
